Beginning July 1st, 2024, all reservations for group picnic areas, pavilions, ball fields, and indoor facilities will require an insurance policy. All individuals, groups, or organizations renting FRRPD facilities will obtain a certificate of liability insurance in the minimum amount of $1,000,000, naming the District as co-insured with an additional insured endorsement.
This MUST include:
- Certificate of Insurance listing Feather River Recreation and Park District as additionally Insured as listed: Feather Recreation & Park District, Its Directors, Officers, Agents, Volunteers, and Employees, 1200 Myers Street. Oroville, CA 95965
- Subrogation or Waiver of Rights: "Contractor hereby grants to Entity a waiver of any right to subrogation which any insurer of said Contractor may acquire against the Entity by virtue of the payment of any loss under such insurance. Contractor agrees to obtain any endorsement that may be necessary to affect this waiver of subrogation. This is a required document for all reservations."

Oroville Convention Center, Nelson Sports Complex, Nelson Pool, Riverbend Park, MLK Park, Playtown USA, Nolan Baseball Complex, and Forbestown.
Insurance requirements can include:
Certificate of Liability Insurance with FRRPD listed as additionally insured, Subrogation or Waiver of Rights, Primary & Non-Contributory certificate, and Alcohol Liability Insurance (if applicable).
Reservation fees may include site rental rate and refundable cleaning deposit.
