Forbestown Hall and Community Park

Forbestown Hall and Community Park was initiated by community volunteers. The materials were paid for by fundraising and labor was provided by volunteers and FRRPD employees. The park features a shaded picnic area, playground, multipurpose slab with basketball hoops and spectator benches, barbecue grill, water fountain, gravel parking area, and ADA compliant restrooms. The restrooms were financed jointly by community fundraising and FRRPD.

Forbestown Park is available for reservations. The Yuba Feather Museum is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00PM - 4:00PM.

June 5th - Opening day. 9:00AM - 4:00PM   Outlaws, musicians, good food, and the Heroes Day and Parade. A festival and parade honoring our local heroes and first responders of all kinds.

Every 3rd and last Saturday June through August - 1:00PM - 3:00PM Ice Cream Social including Sundaes and Root Beer Floats

August 28th - Closing day. 12:00PM - 4:00PM Final Ice Cream Social.  

Novemver 27th - Hometown Christmas 11:00AM-7:00PM Victorian tea room, good food. wares by local artists and crafters, Gold Rush Village lit up at night, live animals, Father Christmas entertainers, and caroling.
