Riverbend Park
50 MONTGOMERY STREET

Located at the 60 Montgomery Street, this 210 acre beautiful park situated along the Feather River in Oroville was established in 2006 and rebuilt in 2019. It includes four pavilions (available for reservation), Eagle Point Pavilion, Big Bear Pavilion, Little Bear Pavilion & Salmon Pavilion. Each pavilion contains a barbecue and seating. Riverbend Park is equipped with two restroom facilities within walking distance of pavilions and plenty of parking. The park also hosts a rock structure play area, paved trails, a sandy beach, a boat dock, fishing ponds, a 36-hole disc golf course (which is available to reserve for tournaments), and connects to a dog park!

  • Large Pavilion Reservation (Eagle Point & Bear Rock):  $145 for half day (9:00am-1:00pm or 2:00pm-6:00pm) $255 for full day (includes electricity).
  • Small Pavilion Reservation (Little Bear & Salmon): $120 for half day (9:00am-1:00pm or 2:00pm-6:00pm) $210 for full day (includes electricity).
  • Soccer Field Reservation : $80 for half day (9:00am-1:00pm or 2:00pm-6:00pm) $150 for a full day .
  • Disc Golf Tournament Reservation :  $500 for a full day.
  • Amphitheater (Public/Private Events) : $1,500 full day

BBQs have been removed from Riverbend Pavilions for the Winter season, from 12/1/25-2/28/2026. BBQs will be reinstalled for Pavilion reservations. Please contact the District Office for more information at (530) 533-2011.

Protected Species 

Did you know that the Riverbend trail hosts protected species? The two dead trees at the north end of the soccer fields are hosting Woodpecker and Bushtit birds' nests. These protected species rely on the trees for cavities, food, storage, and perches. Visit the nesting birds today, but please do not disturb them.
