Yuba Feather Museum Events

The Yuba Feath­er Muse­um and Gold Trad­er Flat is a unique indoor-out­door muse­um ded­i­cat­ed to pre­serv­ing the his­to­ry of east­ern Butte and north­ern Yuba and Plumas counties.

Exhibits cov­er the Maidu peo­ple, moun­tain men and ear­ly set­tlers, Chi­nese immi­grants, gold min­ing, the tim­ber indus­try, giant saw blades and tim­ber indus­try tools, Maidu and Chi­nese arti­facts, min­ing equip­ment, and ear­ly skis and snow­shoes for humans and hors­es that shaped the local culture.

Opening Day- Saturday, June 1st, 12:00pm - 4:00pm - Join us for ice cream in Gold Trader Flat and enjoy what we hope to be a perfect summer day! 

Ice Cream Socials- June through August - Twice monthly ice cream socials! 1:00PM - 3:00PM 

Final Ice Cream Social- Saturday, August 31st, 12:00pm - 4:00pm  - Closing day and the Final Ice Cream Social.  

Hometown Christmas

Saturday, November 30th, 11:00am-7:00pm.- Victorian tea room, good food,  wares by local artists and crafters, Gold Rush Village lit up at night, live animals, and Father Christmas!
