About Nelson Pool

The renovation of Nelson Pool has been successfully completed, bringing significant improvements to this valued community facility. Upgrades include a newly resurfaced pool, new pool decking, fencing, shade structures, slides, diving boards, and an interactive splash play area featuring characters inspired by our local swim team mascot. 

Throughout the year, Nelson Pool serves community members and local organizations by hosting private events, water safety classes, swim competitions, high school swim practices, and a variety of recreational programs. The renovation project was made possible through funding provided by a grant awarded by the Supplemental Benefits Fund Committee in Oroville, California.

Nelson Pool offers Public Swim, Group and Private Swim Lessons, Lifeguard Training Classes, Aquatic Fitness Classes, Lap Swim, and Private Rentals, providing a safe, modern, and welcoming space for residents of all ages to enjoy.

Pool Rental Information

Nelson Pool is available for private events and group rentals. Rentals provide an opportunity to use the pool and aquatic features for celebrations, gatherings, and other private events.
