COVID-19 Update

FRRPD is monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation with the top priority being the safety of our participants and staff. Using information received from both the California Public Health Department and Butte County Public Health, we continue to evaluate the status of our programs and services. Should program changes be necessary, we will post updates on both our Facebook page and our website. Thank you for your understanding during the constantly changing environment.

UPDATE 12/14/21

Governor Newsom announced that the California Department of Public Health (“CDPH”) will require face coverings be worn in all indoor public settings irrespective of vaccine status beginning on Wednesday, December 15th and running through at least January 15th, 2022. Below is the updated CDPH guidance.

As part of this commitment, Feather River Recreation and Park District has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. Compliance Officer

Feather River Recreation and Park District has designated a compliance officer for website disability-related accommodations. The compliance officer has received training in website accessibility and updates the site in accordance with those best practices. Contact our accessibility officer to report an issue.

In addition to testing with users with a wide range of disabilities and coding our website to WCAG standards, Feather River Recreation and Park District regularly scans its website to ensure ongoing compliance, and makes timely changes to any inaccessible changes, if any are found.
